Quirky artwork on whimsical puzzles...

I am launching a new collection of luxury UK made wooden jigsaw puzzles, all featuring my intricate and playful hand-drawn artwork. The new collection will include my artwork of Edinburgh, Sydney, London & my depiction of our world called 'Our Wonderful Planet' across 4 different sizes.

As an architect, I combine knowledge of structures with with my passion for the urban and love for nature together with artistic freedom to draw these stylistic cityscapes, cultural icons, people, animals and landscapes from around the globe.

Hi there,
My name is Adam Swords and I'm a freelance photographer based in the UK. I regularly travel around Europe photographing some of the most exotic and exciting cars in the world.

I shoot for Evo, Fast Car Magazine, Performance VW, Banzai and a number of other automotive publications. If you appreciate my work and require a photographer, it would be a pleasure to shoot for you. I have a number of good connections also, so if there's a certain car you're looking to get your hands on then I should be able to hook you up.

Food Photography

I'm a food photographer. I've been shooting for national magazines, for chefs, PRs, Ad agencies, high-end caterers, food producers and national super-market chains for the last 5 years. My style is honest, real, natural - it's all of that and then hopefully a little more too. Something that's not easy to pinpoint, but that makes the food move people, to want it, to set the stomachs yearning and tastebuds tickling.

I think that's enough from me. To find out about rates or about the way I work just give me a shout. I shoot nationwide.

Bye for now.

Misty Sunday morning in Downtown Detroit

While over in Michigan on a personal assignment to photograph Detroit, I woke early Sunday morning to find Downtown shrouded in atmospheric mist. I managed to capture some great scenes before it lifted, walking around almost entirely alone. This image being my favourite.
Awarded Best AOP photographer 2013 at the Association of Photographers Open Awards London.

Time for a different approach?

facebook directory search twitter twitter BikiniLists.com connects you with YOUR creative market - Get the free trial...

2014 is underway and if like me, some of your New Year resolutions have already hit the skids then you might be feeling a little disheartened. If the resolutions you have made are to improve your business but they are falling at the first hurdle, because you just don’t know where to start, then we are here to help.

Craig one of our longest serving Account Managers at Bikini Lists, has a vast amount of experience in advising clients on how best to grow their business. This month’s blog is a question and answer session with Craig where we pick his mind palace (Sherlock reference for those of you who are fans) and hopefully help you gain a better understanding of just what creative’s want.

We asked Craig what he feels the biggest problem faced by our clients. “The biggest single reason I hear from clients and potential clients is that they just do not have the time to contact possible buyers. Projects and creative works take precedence over finding a buyer for the work. I understand that really all you want to do is spend time using your talent and doing the thing that you love. However the simple fact remains, you MUST make time! You always see companies advertising and promoting their product in the media – you need to do the same. These creative buyers are not just going to pluck your name out of thin air; you need to lead with your work!”

What advice would you give someone who is struggling to promote their work? “You guys need to do something different so these buyers respond to your different style. Keep fresh images landing on the buyer’s inbox every month or so, your images are a part of you – show them off – show them how you good you are! Photo or footage buyers need to see what you can do, what can you bring to the table.”

Craig continues, “Simple is always best. Send out your new work to these buyers on a regular basis. Send a very clean email with one or two of your finest images, accompanied by a short narrative about you, keep it short, after all it is a visuals industry and your images should do the talking.”

It’s amazing how the BikiniLists email service gives you a list of buyers that have actually been on your website looking at more of your work after every email campaign, don’t get me wrong some buyers won’t require your services, but don’t take it personally you are just not right for them at this time. Move on to the people that have clicked through to your website, call them up and be proud of what you have sent them. Be proud of your work! Build a strong working relationship with these buyers and when the jobs do arrive guess who has been pro-actively in contact with the right Creative’s...You! “
